Automated MicroNeedling (a.k.a. YOUR MICRONEEDLING TREATMENT EXPERIENCE
Typically we apply a topical anesthetic cream for about 20-30 minutes prior to treatment.
The microneedling treatment takes about 15-30 minutes (depending on the size of the area treated) and has been described as feeling akin to light sandpaper being moved across the skin.
Immediately after the session you will notice a bright redness to the skin; however, this should subside within 1-3 days. We will recommend a topical skin regimen to speed healing.
Many patients notice that their skin has a subtle “glow” after a single treatment, and observe additional skin-enhancing benefits over the following several days and weeks, with continued improvements up to 6 months after the initial treatment.
Although some patients require only one treatment per year, we typically recommend a series of 3-6 treatments spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart. Patients who present with advanced photo aging, stretch marks, acne scars, and/or deep wrinkles may require a more intensive course of treatment (typically 6-8 sessions every six weeks).
