Dr. Zimmet’s Team

Our staff is committed to providing our patients with our best care. It is very important to us to answer any questions or concerns you may have about all aspects of your treatment.

Zimmet-82Bernadette “Bernie” joined the team as our front office receptionist in February 2014. Originally from Chicago, she and husband Michael moved to Austin in 2012 after making their way via Dallas, Scottsdale, Boston, and Marina del Rey. Bernie has a strong background in retail and customer service and will take great care of you! She is a “foodie”, an avid tennis player, and is a fan of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and all Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes books.
Zimmet-88Grazyna has been with Dr Zimmet since 2003. She graduated from High School in Warsaw, Poland and from Business School in Paris, France. She came to Austin in 1994, and is fluent in French and Polish. Grazyna is one of the office’s Patient Coordinators. She schedules appointments, answers the phone and does other office tasks. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with her son.

Zimmet-108 Lidija  is our licensed vocational nurse and one of our Laser and Skincare Specialists. Lidija truly enjoys caring for people and providing our patients with personable and comfortable experience.

She is certified in Ultherapy, Venous Legacy Body Contouring and Skin Tightening, Ultrashape, and EndyMed. Lidija also performs Advanced FotoFacials, laser hair removal and electrolysis, chemical peels, microneedling and microdermabrasion.

As a Skincare Specialist, she is available for consultation and will make custom skincare regimen recommendations based on your skin type and goals. Lidija has received extensive product training.

Lidija’s favorite thing to do in her spare time is to spend time with her daughter, taking her horseback riding and seeking out new adventures together. She is also committed to serving a local favorite charity. She enjoys playing tennis as well as indulging her creative side through oil painting. As far as a favorite food, for lidija, the spicier the better. Her favorite movie is The Notebook and she favors science related non-fiction for reading.

HadleyHadley, after taking a break to have her two children, has returned much to the delight of her many devoted clients. She has been an aesthetician for eight years, and was with us previously from 2009 to 2011. Hadley truly enjoys getting know her clients and the opportunity to guide and advise them regarding the optimal skincare and product regimen. She looks at skin as a vital organ that deserves to be cared for and protected.

Hadley has a degree in Anthropology with a focus on the cultural and medical arenas as well as a background in public health research via work with the CDC and Emory University’s Center for Injury Control. An interest in skin cancer prevention and skincare in general led her to become an aesthetician. In her spare time, Hadley most enjoys spending time with her husband and two little boys, being outdoors, reading or listening to music.

Hadley’s services include: chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling and Venous Legacy Body Contouring and Skin Tightening, or come see her for a complimentary skincare consultation. She will assess any issues you may be having and review your current skincare regimen then make recommendations on how best to achieve your goals.

 Ankita is our Clinical Assistant. She moved from India to Austin in 2015 with her husband. She was a homeopathic practitioner in India practicing with her father for 2 years. Her love of alternative medicine inspired her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Texas Health and Science University in Austin. She believes that health is related to the balance between mind, body and spirit. Her personal philosophy is live and let live.

In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Skyping her family in India, hiking, reading, listening to music, cooking (especially Indian food) and loves celebrating festivals such as Diwali. The most inspiring book she has read to date is A P J Abdul Kalam’s Wings of Fire.

Her interest in Dermatology led her to join Dr. Zimmet’s team.

Colleen comes to Zimmet Vein & Dermatology with a professional background in marketing and website development among other things. She is the person to talk to about things you would like to see at our office or if you have any comments for us. She received her BFA at the University of Texas right here in Austin. You can see her artwork on her site She has a love of entrepreneurial endeavors, art and design, the discovery of perception altering concepts, reading, and the outdoors.
